ARE YOU THIS RIDER? Do your friends ask if you intend to ride the chairlift when you invite them out for a 'few' park laps? Do your top routes frequently involve pushing up and down trails that aren't on any map? Do your favorite rides begin or end with headlamps, an ice chest, and great friends? Does your bike have to do everything well to get you there and back again? If you think you might be this rider, then Occam should be your bike. - Intended Use: Trail To Light Enduro LINKAGE UPDATE Occam uses a new two-part linkage design. Fewer pieces mean fewer interfaces, greater rigidity, and a lower chance of something working loose. Additionally, we have created a space in the axel and filled it with a handy 4 key multi-tool which is held securely in place with magnets. Always have the most-used tools close at hand for quick tweaks. INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING Occam has our latest, fully internal cable routing, using silicon plugs at the frame entry and exit points and clever conduits linking the front and rear triangle so your cables are fully protected. ASYMMETRICAL DESIGN Instead of using a less-efficient "shock tunnel", the Occam offsets the shock to the left side of the frame, allowing the right-side support to be more central and more efficiently deal with the suspension forces acting on the front triangle. This solution enables us to tune the stiffness of this high-stress area without adding unnecessary weight. THE ASYMMETRIC/OFFSET DESIGN OFFERS UNIQUE ADVANTAGES BEYOND STIFFNESS AND LOW WEIGHT. Avoiding an interrupted seat tube gives more space for dropper posts plus improves access to the shock controls. Additionally, the tidy design leaves room for a water bottle with easy left-side access.

TAKE IT TOO FAR Performance gains can be found everywhere and obsession is part of the game. How far is too far? For as long as we have had goals, competition, and a creative spirit, we have pushed ourselves to win. Once victory is tasted, it becomes an obsession to be the best. You feel it in your heart, lungs, and legs – you can sense it in our bikes. Only by sweating the smallest details and pushing past what seems possible can we achieve our ultimate goals. OMX- 830GR (M) - Orbea Monocoque X (OMX) frames blend high modulus fibers and high strength fibers exclusively. Prepreg carbon sheets are laser cut to minimize excess materials and overlap, and hours of premolding is done to ensure optimal compaction with the smallest amount of carbon. A full EPS mold and Latex inserts are used to eliminate wrinkles and imperfections. DYNAMIC STRUCTURE - The large majority of torsional and lateral loads are handled by the lower spine of the frame. The headtube, downtube, and chainstays resist twisting and transmit power to the rear wheel. There is no doubt about it, resistance to flex in the bottom of the frame translates directly to more watts to the wheel and a sensation that power transfer is instantaneous. COMFORT - The seat stays of the new Alma are thinner, the cross-sections and diameters reduced to provide graceful support for the seat tube and nothing more. The top tube is robust at the head tube where it contributes to torsional stiffness but quickly tapers to eliminate unnecessary material. ORBEA WORLD CUP GEOMETRY - Alma's World Cup Geometry is born from years of designing world-class XC bikes. The position is aggressive, comfortable, and fast. Unlike trail geometry that sacrifices some precision for endurance, XC geometry is precise and intuitive for maximum power transfer. - HEAD ANGLE - 68º - SEAT ANGLE - 74.5º - REACH - 426mm MEDIUM OC COCKPIT - The Orbea XC Family sports an all-new integrated look with a completely unique OC headset/spacer/stem design. The system includes an optional computer mount that is compatible with all major brands using standard adapters. OC component collaboration is a detail that completes the high-end feel of our modern XC bikes. BLOCKLOCK - The Acros Blocklock 164º steering limiter system prevents frame damage due to handlebar or fork impacts. We've worked closely with Acros to reduce stack height and improve cockpit integration with our Alma monocoque models.

AIM FOR THE TOP Oiz is familiar with the hard work it takes to reach summits, leaderboards, and podium steps. We don't need to fabricate a pedigree for this phenomenon - two world championships prove Oiz is a thoroughbred. Oiz and serious cross-country are synonymous, its presence on the World Cup is undeniable. Is the lightest, stiffest and most efficient machine available whether you pin on a number or take it up to the highest peak on your afternoon ride. Oiz has what you need to get there - there is no better weapon to aim for the top. OMX - 1740g - The new OMX frame is lighter, a bit stiffer, and more nimble with 5mm shorter stays. If what you're after is an absolute XC Race experience, OMX will deliver. WORLD CUP GEOMETRY - Super-short rear end for explosive acceleration, maneuverability, and steep climb traction. FLAT MOUNT - The lowest profile brake mount provides the cleanest, stiffest and lightest caliper integration available. FIBERLINK - In the quest for stiffness and clean lines, we developed the long-fiber injected Fiberlink. The perfect blend of low weight and impressive rigidity, Fiberlink integrates seamlessly with the shapes of Oiz and the seat tube. INSIDE LINE - It's the quickest way around the competition - and the optimal route for control cables racing to your fingertips. The proprietary rear shock lockout is completely invisible, hiding from mud and staying out of your way as you grab a water bottle. Controls are accessible and easy to use, creating the smoothest and sexiest shock mounting on the market. It's a small detail, but when your bike is optimized, customized, and weaponized, obsession over details can't be trivialized. TWO BOTTLES - One of the simplest features of the new Oiz was one of the most complex to accomplish - the MD, LG, and XL frames are all equipped with two bottle mounts inside the front triangle. The additional room made available by the Inside Line cable routing puts extra water at your fingertips instead of in your pocket or on your back. SQUIDLOCK REMOTE LOCK - A three-position lockout lever that is compact, lightweight, and integrates with your dropper post lever to allow you to use just one clamp, for both assemblies.

KEY FEATURES: - Genius Alloy Frame - Marzocchi Z2 Air 150mm Fork - X-Fusion Nude 5, 150mm, TwinLoc - SRAM NX-SX Eagle 12 Speed - Shimano Disc Brakes - Maxxis Foldable Tires The Genius has always been our favorite bike. Smart suspension, smarter features, and the smartest design lead to an unbelievable trail bike that just can't get enough. The All-New Genius, any trail, any time. TECHNOLOGIES: PATENTED INTEGRATED SUSPENSION TECHNOLOGY The new Genius applies our patented Integrated Suspension Technology. Not only does this make for a fantastic looking bike, but it also allows us to improve the bike's suspension performance. Primarily, we can engineer frames with a lower center of gravity, resulting in better handling, and a more stable, confidence inspiring ride for the end user. Additionally, the frame’s construction is stiffer around the BB, which reduces unnecessary movements laterally to the direction of the shock’s travel. It goes without saying that the shock is also protected from debris and the elements, two of the main enemies when it comes to shock performance. EXTERNAL SAG INDICATOR Setting sag and checking travel use is easier than ever before with the new Genius. An external indicator on the link allows the end user to easily set sag and identify how much travel they’re using. INTEGRATED HEADSET CABLE ROUTING The Genius features a Hixon Cockpit from Syncros, which has undergone a redesign. Integrating the cables presents a number of unique problems and the Hixon was designed in part to address this. Syncros’s designers worked on the shape to allow the cables to flow under the bar and around the sides of the stem before disappearing into the headset with integrated plastic parts to keep it clean and efficient. This avoids bends or kinks in the cables and provides a minimalist front end. All our bars and stems feature multiple options for computer, light, and camera mounts both on top or under the bar. EASY SHOCK ACCESS With the all-new Genius, accessing our patented integrated shock is easier than ever. Just push the button, pop off the cover, and access is yours. From here, adjusting rebound, air pressure, etc. is a mere button push away. When you're done, just pop the cover back on until you hear a "click" and off you go. NUDE SUSPENSION TECHNOLOGY Shocks with NUDE Technology have been integral to SCOTT Full suspension bikes for nearly two decades. Working closely with our suspension partners, we continue to improve upon this technology so that whether you're racing World Cups at the highest level or out for a big day in the mountains, you'll always have the best support on offer. TWINLOC SUSPENSION SYSTEM With TwinLoc, a rider can effectively control the complete frame, fork, and shock as a system. Why does this matter? A bike with 150mm of suspension travel, correctly set up, has more sag than a bike with 130mm. It's that extra travel that makes it more fun to ride and more capable on the descents, but the greater sag has an oversized effect on the bike's geometry and climbing performance. That's where TwinLoc matters. TwinLoc helps manage the sag effect in several ways. Whereas most systems only increase low-speed compression in an effort to gain pedaling efficiency, TwinLoc allows us to not only change compression damping, but also to change the spring curve, dynamically altering the geometry of the bike. In Trail mode, the shock is not only firmer, but it has dynamically less travel. The bike sits higher, maintains a steep seat angle for those climbs, and becomes more agile. We also offer a third, full lockout mode for going up in the most efficient manner possible. These unique settings optimize climbing geometry, even on longer travel bikes. We can eliminate the "long travel effect" that can rob your pedaling efficiency, but we're not robbing you of the full-fun, 150mm travel when you point it downhill. From a race setting to a lunch ride to an after-work trail shred, being able to switch from mode to mode depending on a trail's profile at the push of a lever is paramount to riding faster and having a damned good time.

MASTER OF FUN Laufey is our most clever and versatile bike. Instead of saying that Laufey is tailored for one type of rider, we're going to go ahead and claim this fun-loving machine is perfect for everyone. Laufey is omnipotent: it's a slack, simple trail bike that relishes new terrain. Laufey may be someone's first bike or their latest bike. It's inexpensive and attainable, and it's a niche bike that feels at home in even the most exclusive bike collection. It's for first-timers and expert shredders. Ride it in Lycra, shred it in jeans. Laufey is a jack-of-all-trades and master of fun with 29" wheels and a 140mm fork. 29" Wheels MAXIMUM CAPABILITY AND SPEED For long, fast rides over varied terrain with the greatest versatility, 29" is the clear choice for Laufey. Wide 2.6" tires offer a bigger contact patch, which means more grip. More knobs are digging into the ground at any one time, increasing cornering and braking traction? Trail Geometry - SLACKER HEAD ANGLE - Great Stability - LOWER BOTTOM BRACKET - Corners Naturally - LONGER COCKPIT - Room to Move While Maintaining Balance - LONGER WHEELBASE - Stability at High Speeds - STEEP SEAT ANGLE - Proper Pedaling Position - SHORT SEAT TUBE - For Long Dropper Posts HYDROFORMED We manipulate the shapes and wall-thickness of our aluminum tubing to increase strength and resistance to unwanted flex. Many of the tubes are butted to save weight in the middle of the tubes, away from the stress of the joints and the weld zones. Using aluminum technologies as advanced as our carbon manufacturing ensures our aluminum bikes are never second-best. RELIABILITY Laufey is designed to see a lot of action. While keeping the frame light, we aimed for the added durability required for a bike that will be ridden hard. Butted and hydroformed tubing ensure the burliness is where it's needed.

When you think of the perfect mountain bike, what comes to mind? For us, it's the Spark 960. Why, you ask? Well, beyond the fact that it is fast, lightweight, and ultra-capable on all sorts of terrain, it's just damned good-lookin'. Short-travel trail bike? "Downcountry" rig? Occasional race bike? Whatever, call it what you want to call it. All we know is that this is one hell of a mountain bike. KEY FEATURES - Spark Alloy SL Frame - RockShox Judy 130mm Fork - X-Fusion Nude 5, 120mm, TwinLoc - Shimano XT-Deore 12 Speed - Shimano Disc Brakes - Schwalbe Wicked Will Tires TECHNOLOGIES: ADJUSTABLE HEAD ANGLE With the new Spark, you can adjust the head angle by .6 degrees slacker or steeper. This can be done without cutting cables or bleeding brakes. All you must do is disassemble the bar, rotate the headset cups 180 degrees, and reassemble. EASY SHOCK ACCESS Accessing the shock via the bottom bracket area is facilitated through a hatch. This makes it easy to adjust rebound, compression, shock pressure, and for installing or replacing the cable for our TwinLoc Suspension System. PATENTED INTEGRATED SUSPENSION SYSTEM An integrated shock platform allows us to refine suspension characteristics without sacrificing weight. Often, when working with bikes at this level, the concept of marginal gains becomes an ever important one. For the optimal performance of a suspension shock, power transfer must be the most direct possible. What we want to avoid are any inefficient directional movements, in other words, lateral movements (sideways to the direction of travel) as the shock goes through its compression. Having an integrated shock allows us to improve this in several ways. Firstly, the frame construction around the shock and with the trunnion mount can be designed to be much more rigid, reducing movement and fostering more efficient power transfer. We can also add much larger bearings to the seat tube pivot, further reinforcing this area and reducing any unnecessary motion. Our integrated Suspension technology also helps us to engineer frames with a lower shock placement which lowers center of gravity. As a result, the bike benefits from better handling, and a more stable, confidence-inspiring ride for the end user. While these may seem like minor improvements individually, the sum of their parts results in more efficient shock performance. Additionally, the shock is fully protected from any foreign elements. Rainy race? No problem, your shock will continue to perform at its best regardless. REAR AXLE TOOL Our rear axle tool has been a staple on our bikes for years, it is now better than ever. It features a T25, T30, and a 6 Allen key all in one. With these three options, you can adjust all pivot hardware and nearly everything else there is to adjust on the bicycle. SINGLE PIVOT SUSPENSION LAYOUT A full-suspension bike will never have success without, well, good suspension design. From the first time we rode the Spark’s single pivot layout we fell in love. Years later, we still believe that for technical cross-country racing and fast, punchy singletrack it is the best approach. The Spark’s suspension layout has a very specific and proven kinematic and less unsprung mass. Using a flex pivot in the seat stay is an ideal solution for bikes in this travel range. This allows us to keep a very lightweight system while still ensuring optimal suspension performance. From a race setting to a lunch ride, to an after-work trail shred, being able to switch from mode to mode depending on a trail's profile at the push of a lever is paramount to riding faster and having a damned good time.

KEY FEATURES: - Scale Carbon HMF Frame - FOX 32 Float Rhythm 100mm Fork - RideLoc 2 / 3-Position Remote - Shimano XT-SLX 12 Speed - Shimano Disc Brakes - Schwalbe Racing Foldable Tires Balancing the ALL-NEW Scale's DNA , we've created a whole new breed in the world of hardtail mountain bikes. A racing inspired geometry, coupled with a straightforward and sharp design provides the all-new Scale 900 line with its distinctive character and aggressive look—a bike that proudly flaunts its definitive characteristics. This rig is ready for just about anything, are you? TECHNOLOGIES: ADJUSTABLE HEAD ANGLE With the new Scale RC, you can adjust the head angle by 0.6 degrees slacker or steeper. This can be done without cutting cables or bleeding brakes. All you must do is disassemble the bar, rotate the headset cups 180 degrees, and reassemble. DESIGN The new Scale’s design was uncompromisingly subjected to our pursuit of perfection and drive for pure efficiency, strictly following the guiding principle of “Form follows Function". In our search for the ultimate, yet most simple construction, we’ve centered the design around the essentials by balancing the bike’s DNA in order to create a whole new breed of XC bike. The result is a straightforward and clear design, which provides the all-new Scale with its distinctive character and aggressive look: a bike that proudly shows off its characteristics. HOLLOW DROPOUT CONSTRUCTION The dropout features an advanced, hollow construction, which allows the axle head to clamp against the inner surface of the dropout and leaves the head flush with the surface. This enables the lightest possible construction approach and a clean-looking design from the outside. While being able to directly shave off 7.5g with the new dropout construction, the optimized design favors a narrower construction of the rear triangle area, which in turn enables a reduction of 20g in this area of the frame (HMX-SL). MONOCOQUE CONSTRUCTION The new Scale RC’s monocoque construction enables production using only one mold for the main section of the bike, the front triangle. Applying our carbon expertise, the new Scale, therefore, consists of only 3 separate pieces molded together. This directly translates into an increased level of efficiency due to the reduced number of junctions required therefore decreasing weight while keeping superior stiffness – something we’re always aiming for with hardtail race bikes. With the full frame constructed as a system, the monocoque design enables the frame to handle forces as a whole. SERVICE DOOR A little service door, which is accessible through a downtube cover, allows easy access to the interior of the frame without the need to remove the Bottom Bracket. Frame maintenance is made easy with regards to cable routing.

When you think of the perfect mountain bike, what comes to mind? For us, it's the Spark 970. Why you ask? Well, beyond the fact that it is fast, lightweight, and ultra-capable on all sorts of terrain, it's just damned good-lookin'. Short-travel trail bike? "Downcountry" rig? Occasional race bike? Whatever, call it what you want to call it. All we know is that this is one hell of a mountain bike. KEY FEATURES - Spark Alloy SL Frame - RockShox Judy 130mm Fork - X-Fusion Nude 5, 120mm, TwinLoc - SRAM NX-SX Eagle 12 Speed - Shimano Disc Brakes - Schwalbe Wicked Will Tires TECHNOLOGIES: ADJUSTABLE HEAD ANGLE With the new Spark, you can adjust the head angle by .6 degrees slacker or steeper. From a race setting to a lunch ride, to an after-work trail shred, being able to switch from mode to mode depending on a trail's profile at the push of a lever is paramount to riding faster and having a damned good time.
